A Little of That

Monday always comes too soon, don't you agree? Our weekend was pretty busy so I'll give you some pictures and recaps to make it a little funner than usual.
{one} I'm loving this whole pay-it-forward ordeal going around! Some sweet lady at the hospital gave C this Seahawks balloon as we were leaving. & I am very sad to add that the hawks did not win the game yesterday. Boo!
{two} I exercised my coupon clipping skills by buying two Sunday papers. Unfortunately, you won't see me on extreme couponing any time soon.. I'm not very good.
{three} Sunday was also National Rubber Ducky day! We had to celebrate by going out and getting C another rubber ducky. So he may be a little Halloween themed, don't judge. This also means I get to cross an item off of my monthly goals! Boo-ya!
{four} Have I ever told you guys how much I love chicken noodle soup? Well, I do.. Especially if it is homemade! The broth is by far my favorite part! If I am sick I live by this stuff. I still haven't perfected my recipe though, but maybe one of these days I will and can share it.
{five} We got our Netflix back up and running! I just had to jump through hoops to get it to work on our PS3. It only took me about half an hour.. Ugh. But all is well that ends well.
{six} Look what arrived in the mail!  I was so excited to get these via Influenster. They smell wonderful - when I use them my whole house smells clean and fresh. They work wonders - my dishes came out extremely clean. Easy on my hands - I didn't have to worry about dry, cracked skin. I feel like you need to use a little more than usual to get nice bubbly, soapy water going though. Either way, I seriously would recommend these. All three scents are amazing, but my favorite is definitely the Lime Basil. This smell alone makes me want to do the dishes. Win-win!

{seven} I applied to fourteen different places over the weekend and am crossing my fingers to get another part time job. The positions were mostly with banks, offices, and fitness places. Wish me luck!

As much as extreme couponing makes me think I would love to do that, if you pay close attention, half the stuff they get is like an insane amount of scissors or something. So unless you're a teacher or going to pay it forward by giving items like that to a school, sometimes the couponing doesn't always work well. However I think it would be fun to once go in and have to pay nada for like 100 items :)

I have never been successful at the coupon game--however, I shop the sales like a pro.

Ugh... I was so sad after the Seahawks lost! Especially, since it was so close! :(

I do alright at couponing. Nothing really extreme or crazy but I usually save between 15 and 20 dollars. Not a lot but everything helps. :)
