Happy One Year Anniversary To Me!

WOW, it's already been a year and two days since I started blogging.. Time really does fly when you are having fun! It's so crazy to look back at all the things that have changed along the way, and to see how much my blog has grown thanks to all of my amazing readers.

+ My blog started out being called Crazy, Beautiful Mommyhood because I assumed I would be blogging mainly about my son and my family. But, then I realized that I had so much more I wanted to talk about and that the direction I thought my blog was going to go was completely different than the direction it was going. So, I changed it to Life & Lemons.

+ I started out where all bloggers do, with no followers. I started following a ton of amazing, and fun, blogs and commenting my little heart out. I also started linking up with a bunch of fun memes like We Want To Know Wednesday (which I now co-host!), Miscellany Monday, and Friday Confessional. Next thing you know I was having a giveaway for hitting 100 followers, then a giveaway for 200 followers, and now I am a little over 500 followers. I seriously cannot thank each and every one of you enough!

+ I finally went back to work after three years of being a stay at home mom, and it was a very welcomed change.. I think. For a while I was juggling three part time jobs hoping to stay afloat, and getting a post up for my blog was pretty difficult.

+ I no longer am enrolled in college, but I do hope to go back soon.. as for what I still have no idea. But when I figure it out I'm sure you guys will be the first to know!

+ I had to sell my horse, and it has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I am so ready to get back in the saddle!

This Weekend We...

- Built a lot of awesome Hotwheel tracks with the ones we bought from Toys-R-Us! For a while we had a track running from the boy's room upstairs, down the stairs, through the living room, through the dining room, and into the kitchen.

- We got to visit with John's side of the family and the boys got to play with their cousins, of course we had to get a picture of them. C is in the blue, and his big brother B is in the red.

- The guys finally got the engine out of the Ford! I guess the top end was making a lot of noise and needs rebuilt.. Hopefully this means John will get it fixed and we will have it running soon! I can't wait til we get it completely restored.

 - My Julep package came in the mail! I am seriously in love with the colors they sent me and had to try them out as soon as I could get them out of the packaging!
