We Have A Winner!

Before I get too far, I just wanted to announce the winner of the giveaway
Congratulations #884 - Lacey N!!

I confess.. I want to give a huge shout-out to all of the amazing blog designers out there, because you guys rock and you are really freaking smart. I spent 45 minutes yesterday trying to make a square (with rounded corners) in kind of a frame type thing in Photoshop. It seemed easy enough, make three squares each a little bigger than the other and color them pink, white, and gray. I failed, and I failed horribly.
I confess..This is how we mixed our pancake batter for dinner the other night. What can I say, my boyfriend is creative :)
I confess.. I should be hearing from the insurance company tomorrow about whether or not I got the job, and I am pretty nervous and am praying that it is good news. I really, really need this job and I know I will be a great fit to their team.
I confess.. So far, every single day this past week, I've been stopped by this train. It's like they know when I leave my house and am about to cross the railroad tracks.
I confess.. I have a lot of blog things in the making and I can't wait until I can put it all together and get it finished!
Dear Whoever Invented Monsters, we need to have a talk. Thanks to a certain older brother, my son is currently afraid of the monsters outside the window, under his bed, in the toilet, in my room, and who knows where else. I would like to shake whoever thought scaring little kids was a good idea. Dear Sleep, where did you go? We used to be such good friends.. Now I toss and turn all night and wake up feeling, and looking, like a zombie. Dear John, thank you for finally admitting you like my Parrot fish and want another one. That is all. Dear Friends Who Are Helping Me With Photoshop, you have no idea how thankful I am.

I've mixed things like that before - you have to work with what you have :) Sending a prayer your way about the job - hope you get some good news soon! Also - trains are the WORST for me - I used to have that same problem all the time until we moved (now there are no train tracks on my drive lol).

I don't know why but waiting on a train makes me twitchy. Even if it does allow for twitter and Facebook catch ups

Congrats, Lacey!

Ya gotta share the magic monster-slaying word with C, so he's empowered to battle all those monsters on his own. Don't feel bad- my oldest bro was once afraid of the monster that lived IN the toilet.

Now that is a way to stir pancake batter- too funny! My kids would love it if we got stopped by a train everyday, me not so much.

Hope you get the job!

Good luck on the job! Hope you get it!

Tell him to make the monsters funny. It worked when Turbo was afraid of Zombies. He made them funny--like clowns or with pink puppies and it helped.

UGH getting stopped by trains on a regular basis is AWFUL. I just found your blog, and I'm so glad I did! Can't wait to keep reading!
